Chillin with the Brodericks!

Hi everyone...here I am, hanging out with Trudy, Bill and JB. I'm drinking bedtime tea and hoping that Grace will stay asleep. She had a really hard night last night and of course, so did Justin and I. Poor baby had some belly issues and was in pain the whole night. Cross your fingers for tonight!

On a positive note, Grace has grown and changed SO much just this week. She has found her fingers and loooooves to suck them. She is grabbing toys and trying to pull them toward her mouth. She is trying so hard to talk to everyone and making lots of new sounds!! Her tongue makes so many shapes!! It's pretty funny to watch. Oh! Trud just told me her was pinching her tongue with her fingers today...ahhhhhhh, the things that thrill you when you're a mom (and grandma!)

Ok, I must go and try to sleep in case tonight is anything like last night.

A Look Back....

I felt the need to post a couple of older pics of Grace because she is such a big girl, so fast! Sigh. She will be 11 weeks tomorrow and she is growing up faster than I ever thought possible. She is so alert now, looking at people's faces and enjoying different expressions. She is hitting rattles and starting to understand cause and effect! She loves when I sing Twinkle Twinkle and enjoys it when I rub her cheeks (her face cheeks!!) haha. Her little personality is already developing and she is a little charmer:)
We are off to the museum today and I will take her pictures in there and post them!!
LOVES!

"Perfection in a Onesie"

I really want to suck my thumb...but my fingers will do.

I'm hitting the rattles! Yayyy!

Gracie in the mirror!

Loving the playyard

Yes, this is what Poppy Bill always says to Grace. I think he has really fallen for her;) As I speak, they are up on thier bed playing in her playyard with her.

Today, Ms. Grace had her 2 month shots and it nearly killed everyone, except her! She was such a champ. She didn't cry when the doctor examined her or when she got weighed. Only when she was stuck with needles did she cry (and did she ever). Trudy and I cried alot too! I was so exhausted from all the emotions that when I got home, I just went to bed with her and woke up hours later.

So, she is now 10 pounds, 11 ounces

She is in 75th percentile for height and above average for weight!!

I am about to go drink a cup of tea and go to bed!! (My brain seems to hurt today...sorry for the short blog! ) XXOO

Missing Nana Glenda and Pop Roy....

Here are a few pics for everyone, especially Nana Glenda and Pop Roy who are really missing Grace lately. It may be because it has been awhile since they have seen her or maybe it's because they know Trud and Bill are snuggling the babe! They are so happy for the Broderick's but obviously they wish they were here too. I am putting random pics up of the baby to help them out. Life is funny when you live away from family...you are SO happy to see them and then when they leave, it is SO sad. It really seems like many Newfie families are living this reality..it's hard. Right now, we are focusing on our beautiful baby, loving our friends we have down here and trying to stay positive about when we see far away friends and family again.

Lots to tell!

Hi Everyone! I'm sorry it's been so long, but life has been super busy!! Where to start? Well, Justin's ma and pa came on Saturday, and it's SOOOO nice to see them and see them meet Grace. It was all pretty emotional and I was exhausted after:) They are so enjoying just watching the girl and her little expressions.

Then, on Sunday, we went to see Sam get baptized. It was so sweet. He was such a good boy the whole time:) Mari and Aaron had a reception after, and it was beautiful. The food was AWESOME and everyone got to mingle and hold the man of the hour. Many people who have never seen Grace got a chance to hold her! Aaron's mom, Gi Gi, was happy to finally meet her because her and her family follows the blog. I really appreciated having so many people interested in my little Grace:)

Well, I can't make this a long blog because poor JB has gotten a horrible case of food poisioning! Poor guy is lying up in the bed, just surviving. We may have to go to the hospital...get better babe!

Sweetness

Hey ya'all! ;) Just sitting here after a marathon day, waiting for the next feeding. I know my blog title is stroller fit momma, but I am baking brownies right now. ahhhhhh...smells good. Yes, Mari and I have started this fun fitness class that includes the babies, so it's perfect. I kinda thought, how hard can this be? Really? OMG, it's hard. I am sore from last tuesday and I have to suck it up and go back tomorrow! Grace kind of sleeps through the whole thing. She is the littlest baby in the whole group and she looks so sweet and tiny. The other kids really seem to enjoy it so I'm looking forward to it (and possibly wearing a bikini again?!)

So, today was fun. Sam and Gracie went for a walk. The weather here is perfect these days. Not too hot, not too cold. We all went to Old Navy to have a little shop, and then played at my house. The greatest things these days really are the most simple.

I better run so I can get ready for stroller fit tomorrow and work on Char's baby shower invites. I am SO excited that so many of my friends have babies or are preggers!! I am sad that I have not seen Maria's sweet baby, Gabe, but I know I'll see him soon...ok, on a tangent, better run! LOVE YOu!
