Happy Halloween!

This year Gracie had the obvious choice of going as Dora the Explorer! We bought her the backpack, orange shorts and a pink top. Char worked her magic and boom, they fit and she (sort of) looks like Dora! She wore her sweet little outfit to the baby boot camp halloween party yesterday:) She ate and ate and went wild on te playground equiptment. That little pink arm cast does not bother her at all! (only two weeks left on that btw!)

Last night we went to the miller outdoor theater to watch Monsters VS Aliens on a big screen. She had fun running up and down the hills with daddy.

Grace also celebrated halloween at school! Whew...tomorrow we are looking forward to going to a birthday party for a little friend and trick or treating with Mila and Suri!

Broken Baby

As you all know by now, my baby Grace fell from a little swing at a Halloween party (dressed as a fairy no less!). It was such a little fall, I didn't think much of it. That night she cried most of the night and went to the ER the next day to find out she has two fractures on her right arm:( When we found out, I think my heart actually broke. Lots of tears later (by mom only!), she got a soft cast for a week. Then, a hard cast for 3-4 weeks. She is not in pain, just really annoyed with this huge thing. Hopefully, it'll get easier with the fiberglass one.

Christmas will be extrta special this year because she'll be cast free!! I love you Gracie girl more than you could know. I'm thankful this is something that is fixable...now we wait!

A even bigger Broderick Bunch!

For the last two weeks, Nan and Pop Pop Broderick were visiting from Corner Brook. Grace has been in her glee having constant love and attention from her grandparents! We have had fun going all over Houston, from NASA, to the aqaurium, music classs and a renissance fair (which was crazy...especially since we all got SUPER sick!!). We think it may have been yucky food poisioning...bleh. Anyway, other than that, wehave had fun shopping and spending time. Pop Pop is leaving tomorrow which is sad:( Nan is off on Sun. Happy Birthday to you Papa Roy:) Like I have to say it, but of course we wish we were there to blow out your candels with you! Gracie would love to sit on your lap and eat some yummy nan cunning birthday cake!

Thank you for always being an inspiration to everyone you meet, and having endless love and devotion to your family. You are so incredibly loved and we miss you everyday.

Can't wait to have fun seeing you and Gracie playing!! You are definitly her favorite toy;)

Happy Birthday Nana Glenda!!!!

Happy birthday to my mommy and Gracie's Nana, Glenda:) Of course we wish we were there with you to celebrate your big 34, but we're crusin this week. We want you to have the happiest day ever, filled with friends and family and things for YOU! Nana Glenda may be the most selfless person I know, giving and loving her family SO much. Everywhere I have moved, she has been a thousand times. Nana is the best, there when Grace was born, helping so much with every inch of taking care of her. She is the most beautiful women I have ever known and each year, she is more and more stunning. Thank you momma for being such a strong, funny, knowledagble, sweet, sensitive, tough, giving, loyal lady! We all love you!
