Happy Halloween ya'all! Yes, we are far from the halloweens of my childhood where snowsuits were used under costumes (yes, I WAS a fat fairy...not happy!) It's beautiful and warm here today and we are waiting for trick or treaters while gracie munches on some blueberries and cinn apples. This morning we went with Veronica and had a photo session that went ok. Grace has been feeling under the weather...she just got her second top tooth yesterday and now she has the sniffles. :( Of course with all the flu stuff going on, I am worried. I hope and pray she does not get more sick.

On Friday she had her stroller fit Parrrtay and dressed again as a 50's girlie. Cute!

We are going to Mari's tonight for a little bit, so we are excited about that.

My Friend Alicia

Our little friend, Alicia came to hang out on Saturday night! Grace really looks up to her big girl friends because she can do cool stuff like read! Alicia read lots of books to Gracie and played with her baby toys (but in a big girl way!). Miss Alicia is SUCH a great reader and she can bake delicious cupcakes...mmm. Grace watched her with lots of love the whole time and thought she was the most interesting thing since...well...Daisy! (and that is a compliment!)

Ok, Grace is not so scary this Halloween....but she sure is cute! Spoiler alert! Grace is a...duh duh duhhhhh...50's cutie! Love the poodle skirt with her name in it:)

This weekend was pretty busy so far. Alicia came over while her Mom and Dad went to see The Hip and we had fun! We made some delicious cupcakes and danced to Hannah Montana. Grace loved to watch everything her 5 year old friend did!

Today, Garrett and Kelly and Grace and I went to the Little Gym Halloween Party! It was packed full of little ones all dressed up:) There was music, a tent, a slide, dancing etc. Grace and Garrett sure had fun exploring! Garrett was the cutest puppy EVER and him and Grace really love hanging out. Grace had a mini meltdown at the end, but it was overwhelming! Thanks guys for coming and we hope to hang out again soon!

Mari, Lauren, Stacy and Shannon all did a Triathalon today!!!! Grace and I were gonna go to cheer them on but poor baby is getting a front tooth and she is NOT herself..ouchy. The girls all finished in good time and I am SO proud of them! Imagine doing all of that? Holy...Way to go!

Also, Happy Birthday Stacy!!

Better run and get Gracie in the bath and off to bed...I am so tired today too. This teething thing is for the birds!

By the way, Grace is:

1) Saying Dai-sy (in two syllables!)

2) taking a few steps

3) nursing less, eating more food (ground beef, veggies and cheese tonight!)

4) sharing her stuff, especially her paci!

5) waking up and saying "Dag" even before she knows she is awake! It's true love..

6) mimicking emotions...if I am fired up about something, she starts yelling! If I talk softly, she is sweet...hmmm, scary! haha

7) She LOVES when I sing "Somewhere Out There" (saddest, most pathetic song EVER...I sing it when I feel lonely for my mommy!) She puts her head on my chest and 'sings' along!

8) She does an awesome front roll...tucks and rolls herself!

Saturday Fun with Nana G!

Today was a lazy Saturday with Nana:) Instead of focusing on the sad fact that she leaving tomorrow, we tried to keep busy. We are still recovering from last night at the mall with goose...NOT GOOD. Gracie was fussy and upset the entire time. Not a shopper? hmmm. Well, Nana bought her awesome outfits from Crazy 8 that we'll show you when we get her birthday pics done!

So, this morning Grace fed herself a very messy breakfast of egg yolks, cheerios, cheese, yogurt melts and watermelon! Yum. After mom and I cleaned her and the house up from that, she ran naked around the house for awhile (I was scared she would pee pee , but we got lucky!) After that, we went to the park next door and even fed ducks (one bit my knee and a couple cracked up laughing...freaking ducks).

Overall, we are a little sad to say the least. Grace is saying "Dag" and looking for Daisy everywhere..and even crying about it! We don't want Nana to go:( It has been such an awesome week! We love you Nana xoxoxo
