Bottle Cove Bound

Today we went down the bay to Bottle Cove and it was an adventure! It was all winding roads, trees, hills and beautiful water:) Ahhh. IT was a super hot day here today so we enjoyed the weather on the beach. We went to this little coffee shop in York Harbor and bought some little homemade cookies. Grace enjoyed some of the drive (and cried the rest!) but really enjoyed the Bottle Cove Beach.

Today Uncle Peter and Cherie came to visit Missy and it was awesome to see them together! Just like I imagined...

Right now Gracie is out for a stroller ride with Pop Roy because she is SO upset?! Its 11:22 and she is wailing...sigh. I think it's teething, or just overtired. I remember when she was first born we had many nights like this!

We are really missing Papa Tim and the fam and our friends...It's always bittersweet seeing new family and friends and saying goodbye to others!

Sorry it has been so long since a post...we have been SO busy! We had an amazing time in St. John's and it's so sad that that is over. Between seeing the girls and hanging out with the grandparents, it was unreal. I knew it would be amazing, but it really reminded me of all the awesome people in my life! Grace enjoyed meeting everyone and really got used to being held. Now, she loves being the center of attention!

Dad Tim and I made the 4 hour drive to Gander, stayed overnight and then Mom and Dad Roy picked us up there and drove us home to Corner Brook...it is SOOOO pretty here! Grace loves the fresh air and has been having fun with both sets of Grandparents, her Aunt Em and her Greatgrandparents. I have lots of pictures to post and I promise I will!

We are waiting for Daddy to show up July 10th. We miss him SO much! OXOXO

Yea, I'm still pretty excited that we're actually here. It's so strange for my home to be so interesting and different, but it is! I feel like a tourist, marveling at beautiful scenery, fresh air, funky houses and even the baby food! It's been amazing to see Grace thrive here with all of the attention from the Thorne family and my friends. She has been smiling, reaching, clapping, almost crawling and just having fun:) I know she really misses her Daddy, but we are counting the days to see him...we love you.

Today mommy was able to go out for a massage and coffee with Maria while Grace stayed with Papa and Nana:) Ahhhhhhh. Wonderful. Mur bought me a super thoughtful b day present and we let the babies play at the house. Shikara came over later and we made dip and just enjoyed chatting. Grace has so much fun playing with momma's besties;)

Ok, off to bed and I'm so excited to start another day of this vacation!

P.S. Char and Damien's sweet baby girls are home!! They are now over 5 lbs and look like perfect dolls! Congrats guys:) OXOX

Happy Father's Day!!

So here we are on the Rock!! We landed Wednesday morning and we have been loving it ever since:) So much to tell, such little time (I'm off to play a game with the fam) So000, we have had a sleepover/playdate with Gabe and Maria and it was amazingly awesome. Seriously. Maria and I have missed eachother SO much and to see eachother..with babies...sigh. Love. I don't know what to say. We had a BBQ at her house (those pics to follow) and it was great to meet new people! We love you guys.

We also have spent lots of time with Shikara and Janice! Shopping, chatting, and just spending time catching up has been wonderful. (those pics to come! haha). WE went to Janices baby shower today too...can't wait for baby Batstone! Can't wait for our annual dip night girls;)

And today we celebrated Father's Day with Papa Tim:) Grace LOVES him and enjoys cuddling with him so much. We already celebrated with Daddy and will celebrate with poppy Roy!! WE love you daddy's! XOXO

Thank you Dad for being the best Daddy and buddy ever! I love how you fly me high in the air and blow on my belly:) It makes me laugh!! You play with me on my mat and let me do so many fun moves that mommy is scared to do with me. Thanks for helping me be a strong girl! I love how you come home every lunchtime to spend time with me, making me lugh and playing with my sister Daisy Duke. When you walk in a room, I stick my little tongue out and grin the biggest grin I can just to show you how much I love you. You buy me pretty dresses and kiss me every single time you hold me. I love you more than the world because you are the handsomest, bestest, smartest, funniest daddy ever!! I LOVE YOU!
