Happy Graduation Dad!! Happy Birthday Nana Leigh, Nana Vic and Pop Bert!

eep, it's been so long since I've blogged. Sorry! Our picture thing was missing:( JB found it today! So much has happened with the people in our lives, including Dad Tim graduating...again! YES! He already finished his graduate degree and now has his post secondary ed! Awesome Dad:)
Congrats!!
Lots of birthdays too! Nana Leighs is tomorrow and Nan and Pop Vicki and Bert just passed. :) Happy birthday!
Mom and Dad are arriving on Friday and then we are off to CB the next Monday. We are going to miss JB but we are excited to see friends (and get outta this heat! bleh.)
Gracie is doing great! She is changing so much everyday and is starting to seem much more like a little girl rather than a baby. She is now into hugging her white bear (that resembles Daisy) and kissing her. I'm hoping that she'll form some sort of attachment to it so it helps her stay asleep. She is jumping, dancing, climbing and getting into trouble. She emptied out a huge pack of q tips and when I found her, she 'explained' in her own language what she did. When she realized I was mad, she growled, put up her scary hands and said 'dinosaur!!!' (in grace lang!) It was so cute, I wish I had it on video;)
Goose is finishing up her little gym class for the semester! She finished the birdies class already....big girl. Her friends William and Jonah and her had good times!

Full days....and nights.

What a weekend!! We are all finally healthy for the first time in two weeks and it's been busy busy! Gracie's babysitter came over Friday night and they had a blast! It was super stormy and the lights went out, but we still went for dinner but they had so much fun;) Saturday we went to Kendal's birthday party! The sweet little baby turned one and Goose had fun running away from me and escaping to the bouncy castle...yes, by herself. Sat. night, we went to Char's house for dinner and Goose played with Mila, Suri and Alicia:) Grace had a ball sitting on the girlies in the ball pit (oopsy), and following whatever Alicia did:) Sunday, we went to Le Peep with John and Liz and gave them a taste of parenthood! haha..it was fun!
These days, Grace is copying everything we say. She dances constantly and does the best side to side twist, toe tap, getting low and clapping. She loves lifting up everyones shirts and blowing on bellies...sorry Rachel;) Overall, we are hay that she is feeling a little better, even if sleep is a little patchy!

Happy Mothers Day at Lakeway!!

Happy mother's day to all you beautiful mommies! This weekend our Broderick Bunch went to Rachel and Matt's family Lakehouse in Lakeway. It was amazzzzing. They have a perfect little (ok, not little spot) on the lake just outside of Austin. We were all there, Rachel's momma and co, doggies, and bean Goldsmith (due to arrive Sept. 2010!!!!) We shopped, napped, ate, went out on the boat, walked, and relaxed. It was great to catch up with them!! Thanks so much for having us out! xo
Today we missed our mom's and Grandma's who live so far away. We sent them cards and gifts but that is not enough to truely show them what they mean to us. Now that I am a mom, I understand the sacrifices and love our mom's had for us!Thank you mom for being such a strong, smart, beautiful woman and I am proud to be your daughter! You have always shown all of us unconditional love and I adore you:) XO
Justin shouts out a huge thank you to Trudy for being so loving and endlessly there for all her boys. Grace gives a little nose crinkle for you;) We all love you!
Leigh, thank you for taking me on and loving me:)I have lots of fond memoires of us doing awesome stuff that was so fun (remeber the candy apples? Painting? giant bubbles!?)
love you!
Nana Vicki, my super modern Nanna who is way better at Facebook than me and checks this blog constantly. You are a piller of our family and everyone adores you. You are such a classy, sweet, funny, friendly, loving lady! I love you!
I have other Grandmas (Nana Cashin, Nan Beulah and Nan Beulah) who don't check this, but we all love you girls! XOXOXOX
