6 month check-up!

We just got back from the doc's (two and a half hours later...pooped) and Ms. Grace is over 15 lbs, 26 inches and totally healthy. Well, except that she has a little something in her eye and we have to go to a kids eye doctor tomorrow. They predict that she will be about 5 foot 4:) Shortie!

She is chatting over there in joy, so I guess her vaccines are not hurting too much!

Yesterday was my 28th birthday and I was suuuuuper sick. JB made it better with sweet cards, trick candels and an awesome williams-sonoma waffle maker (thank you Broderick parents for part of that!!;)! Sunday Brunch, take that! Mom and Dad Glenda and Roy sent me some beautiful flowers with little butterflies in it...sooo pretty.

My child calls...gotta run. No cold for her...yet. Knock on Wood!

Ms. Gracie loves to hum while drinking milk and she grunts as she tried to get at her solid food! She is very vocal ALL the time, and I'm lovin it!

Well, I already posted a huge long post but lost it (waaaaa) so I am just gonna cut it short. I'm feeling fluish tonight and hoping that Grace stays healthy! OOX

Grace in her first weeks home...so tiny

Can you believe it? Grace is a whole 6 months old! AHHHH! She is such a big girl now, showing her little personality all the time. Here is the update!

1) She loves Daisy! She laughs at her, grabs for her and even tries to walk/crawl toward her. She grabs her face and Daisy just looks pathetic.

2) She is charming audiences now! She loves it when people pay attention to her..people in line at the grocery store, parents on messenger, etc. She grins a little 'Trudy' grin and reaches for thier face.

3) She easily rolls from side to side and tried to sit up (and almost does it!).

4) She is feeling anxious if I leave. Even if I go to the bathroom, she screams and produces big tears pretty fast! I am hoping this is the separation anxiety phase and will pass?!

5) She is constantly babbling and it sounds like she says ma ma ;)

6) She almost has a tooth (her incisor!) Little Vampire.

7) She interacts with other babies and enjoys being around them..social butterfly?

Promise 6 month photos will come! We have had a CRAZY weekend. Between JB being super sick, and Grace and I trying to stay out of his way, it's been a looong yucky weekend. BUT, brightspots were that we went out for my b day with Brian and Steph on Satuday night and it was fun to catch up with them!!

Little Miss Mila and Suri were born on Thursday night!! We are all so excited and can't WAIT for then come home. The girlies are doing well, and are still getting a little help in the hospital. Char is doing great too. Above is a pic of Suri, the 5 pounder! See you soon!!!

Gabe, where art thou?

Ok, those wee pictures of the cutest little boy ever is GABE...yes, Gabe Callahan. Maria and Jordan's beautiful bundle of sweetness that I CANNOT WAIT to meet!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Maria and I are so lucky and excited to have babies at the same time, and we always daydream about throwing our babies at eachother and loving them! I wish I had bigger pictures..hmmm, that is the extent of my computer skills. Gabe, Aunt Amy and Gracie are counting the days to pinching those sweet cheeks! XOOX

Bath Time at 5 1/2 months!

Gracie is totally in love with taking a bath. She gets to kick, chew on bath toys and tell reaaaal loud in a echoy bathroom. She is getting a little big for her baby bath 'sling' so I think it might be almost time to get rid of it...sigh. Where did my little baby go? She is getting older and stronger every day:)
