Grace and her bear at 3 months

Whew! What a long and fun weekend! I am soooooo tired but can't wait to tell you all about it tomorrow:) In the meantime, here are a few other pics of Ms. G. Emily with her bear Poppy Tim sent her when she was born.

Happy Three Month Birthday Grace!!

Happy Three Month Birthday Grace!! I have more pics of her in her birthday suit (ha ha) but I am having technical difficulty! Justin sent me this one from his I phone...so, Ms. Grace can now

1) reach for toys

2) coo and talk to people

3) says mooooooooom mom mom (which may be mom as in me, or a noise she is making with her lips shut:)

4) Turning to her side and rolled over yesterday

5) smiles!

6) starting to get bored! I am now like a clown, just entertaining all the time (not that I mind having an excuse to act foolish:)

7) When I pull her up, she can support her head coming up

8)she is noticing Daisy duke!

Grace and I had lots of fun today playing on Poppy Bill's bed:) We played on her playyard (good purchase Nana Glenda!) and we chatted. She loves to talk and smile lately and I needed to get it on video. Sorry for the annoying baby voice I do the whole time...I don't realize I sound so high strung! haha.

On a sad note, we are missing Nana Trudy. Grace and her had a real bond and spend so much time together. It was tough for her to go, and we are just counting the days till they see eachother again!

I almost have a big girl room!

Grace that is...not me! haha. Yes, Poppy Bill is working hard on building up our loft so that Gracie gets her very own room. Right now she is in our sitting room off of our bedroom, which is great for right now. It is done up adorably (ummm, is that a word?) and I can jump up in the middle of the night if a hear a squeak. The time is coming, though, that she does need her own room. I am going through SO many magazines to get new and wonderful ideas. So, if you have any, send them my way!

Nothing else too new here. Mari and Sam are away in Florida visiting thier pop so we are missing them. We are planning Char's shower so that has been fun! I can't wait for Grace to meet Mila and Suri!

HAPPY 30th Daddy! Happy 27th Lauren!! Happy 12 week Grace:)

It is a birthday weekend!! We all went out to El Patio and a few pubs on Saturday night for Laurens birthday (pics to follow:) and had a great time. At 12:00, we cheered Justin's 30th birthday. Today, JB went for a b day bikeride in Galveston and we had an awesome Jiggs Dinner at Char's house (Newfoundland dinner of boiled veggies, turkey, salt beef and gravy...really good Texan friends...promise:)

So, happy birthday Daddy! We love you!

Hi everyone...here I am, hanging out with Trudy, Bill and JB. I'm drinking bedtime tea and hoping that Grace will stay asleep. She had a really hard night last night and of course, so did Justin and I. Poor baby had some belly issues and was in pain the whole night. Cross your fingers for tonight!

On a positive note, Grace has grown and changed SO much just this week. She has found her fingers and loooooves to suck them. She is grabbing toys and trying to pull them toward her mouth. She is trying so hard to talk to everyone and making lots of new sounds!! Her tongue makes so many shapes!! It's pretty funny to watch. Oh! Trud just told me her was pinching her tongue with her fingers today...ahhhhhhh, the things that thrill you when you're a mom (and grandma!)

Ok, I must go and try to sleep in case tonight is anything like last night.
