Bad hair days, valentines, and the sweetest little girl

We are back and ready to blog! We just got back from a 6 week trip to NL and we are still getting in the swing of Houston life!! Grace was such a good traveller on the way back, she made me look bad! When we got in Montreal, she said, "Daddy! Daisy!" and then we had a the worst montreal-houston trip! She tool it in stride though.

Since we have been back, Justin has been pretty excited about how grown up Gracie iShe s all of a sudden. At 26 months Goose loves to:

1) count! "1,2,8,9,11.."

2) Not only say no, but says "Noey NO!" hmm.

3)She is sensitive to other peoples feeleings.

This is not new, but now she really gets upset if she sees or hears another kid crying. She saw me cry the other day (thats another blog;) and hugged me and said "Happy!" when I gave her a smile!

4) Is obsessed with the IPAD! This is not exactly what we were hoping for (ugh) but she loves the princess app, Tom the cat and angry birds. I actually have to hide the thing from her! She uses it better than I can...insane.

5) She is really in love with all the loves in her life, and has had an adjustment period. She always talks about Nana , Pop Pop, (Bill) Papa Tent (Tim), Papa (Roy), Sissy (Em), Bath (Beth), Gabe, Baby Jude, Sammy, Sur Sur, Chauuur, Daisy (ALL the time), Addie (from school), Amy (her teacher), The Kids (Kastines kids)...she has alot of people in her life that she LOVES and wants to be around

Ok, Lots more to update but gotta go make pasta for the baber.

St. John's Fun!

What fun we had in this awesome city this week!! Gracie reconnected with her BFF's Gabe and Jude! They painted, Maria and I caught up and it was heavenly at the least. We also had a potluck with Emilie, Michael, Kate, Alex, Jord, Janice, Andrew, a few new friends and all the babies! Sooo good to catch up. Actually impossible to describe right now the amazingness of catching up with Maria and her beautiful family. Seeing Gracie with her Papa Tim, Nana Leigh and Uncle Andrew was pretty hearthearming. What an experience to see my beautiful friends Tara, Janice, Shikara, Jen, Kate...sigh. Grace really enjoyed all of these lovely ladies. She just knew she belonged. Dad took off some time and it was nice to just spend time.

Thats enough of a love fest. I am so emotional about leaving tomorrow but im excited to see Justin and Daisy. Thanks to my family and friends for being more amazing than I could ever expect. I love you..and miss you already.
