The special day was complete with a princess tu tu dress from Nana G, heart shaped watermelon (thanks daddy) and lots of cookies! Gracie was chilling with her boyfriend Sam and even made daddy a valentine!

Daddy and Goose Reunion!

We all went to the park yesterday and Daddy and Grace had some serious playtime. They were making up for lost time!!

Overall, the transition back to Texas has been ok. Grace really missed her loved ones in Newfoundland this time and the trip was hard. However, she has gotten back into a schedule but now we are struggling with the very end of nursing (Grace is heartbroken!!).

Grace has enjoyed time with her friend Sam and Sarah and has lots of social engagements coming up!!:)

P.S. Congrats to Sammy's mom, Mari, for owning Stroller Fit!! I even saw the logo on her car!! So proud of the new business woman!:)\

So we are still here in corner brook, chilling out with Dad Roy (he has been off for two weeks!) Its been snowing on and off and Grace is enjoying time with family:) I guess she has had a whole lotta attention, so she is doing SO much! She is now signing (more! All finished! milk!Thank you!) It's SO crazy to actually communicate with her like that..now I have to learn more sign language. haha. She can point to her nose, eyes, head and makes animal sounds...sooo funny. We have a little girl on our hands.

It's a beautiful sunny day and we are going to buy gracie a slide and have some snowy fun! We are going to st johns after this upcoming weekend, there for a week and then back to Texas. Whew....whirlwind trip!!

Hello Corner Brook!!!!!

WE arrived in Corner Brook on Thursday night (well, Friday morning) after a loooooong long trip. We travelled through T.O and Halifax and it was pretty bad. Grace was a trooper though. She had mini meltdowns but nothing as bad as I thought. I wanted to throw a tantrum too! Anyway, when we showed up at the airport in Deer Lake, Mom, dad and sis were all there to greet us which was awesome. After a short trip to Tim Hortons, we went home and Grace went to sleep at 3:30 in the morning.

Since then, it's been a blur of catching up on sleep and catching up with family! We went to Bob and Gert's house for Uncle Marks 40th birthday party, which was fun:) Happy Birthday Muncle!

Grace is meeting so so so many new people!! She is charming everyone and sometime being shy:) Who knew she had so many people that love her (Well, Iknew...haha)

Off to coax a still jet lagged girl to bed!

Our view from our hotel room at Lakeway resort just outside of Austin. We stayed for three nights...went to the spa, Fredricksburg (an old German town), visited Salt Lick (BBQ place) and went shopping...lovely.
